ERROR: The certificate of ‘ftp.drupal.org’ is not trusted.

When installing Drupal on a fresh Debian 8 server I received this error from wget.

Connecting to ftp.drupal.org (ftp.drupal.org)|151.101.45.175|:443... connected.
ERROR: The certificate of ‘ftp.drupal.org’ is not trusted.
ERROR: The certificate of ‘ftp.drupal.org’ hasn't got a known issuer.

The fix is;

apt-get install ca-certificates
